Charlotte Wright Joins NeXec: All Drive, All the Time
Charlotte Wright has started at NeXec as a Sales Development Representative. She brings a whole new perspective and energy to the table. Her relentless drive is evident in the fact that her CV packs way more than one would expect at her career stage.
She is currently studying finance at Hanken School of Economics for the second year. Her choice of school wasn’t decided on a whim. She had told her mother, at the age of six, that she wanted to go to Hanken. At that age, most of us would rather aspire to be, say, an astronaut or a pop star, but clearly, Charlotte is not like most of us.
This isn’t her final form, obviously. "I want to have a career abroad. My first two options are London and Stockholm. My goal is to advance in the financial sector as high as possible," Charlotte says.
Football courts and other fields
Charlotte has gained experience in different fields. Due to her competitive nature, you won’t be surprised that she has a background in sports. She has both played and coached football, which has taught her teamwork and determination. Her previous work assignment was as a financial manager at a startup company. She has been active in the student union, heading the sponsor acquisition team. Not everybody would have wanted the role of being the one to be the one driving the sponsorship sales to companies, but that is exactly Charlotte’s game.
"I've always liked being on the go and doing things. I am determined, and I make sure that things happen when I'm around," Charlotte says.
Eyes on the future
Charlotte has only just started working at Nexec, but she already has a clear vision of what the near future holds for her. She wants to learn more about the financial sector and constantly develop in her work. The hundred-day goals include making the first deals of her own.
"At NeXec, I was most attracted by the fact that there are many incerdibly skilled people here from whom I can learn. In addition, there’s a lot of variety here, so I get to work with many different companies and learn about what makes them tick," says Charlotte.
Not afraid of the path of most resistance
In addition to the financial sector, Charlotte has a surprising interest: military crisis management tasks. She has applied to the Finnish military service and the call-ups are coming soon. If one wants to experience an easygoing military service, one probably wouldn’t choose a demanding role, such as those in reconnaissance units. When asked about her plans, we weren’t surprised.
"I’m interested in applying to be a reconnaissance radio operator," she reveals.
Charlotte's versatility and ambition make her an exceptional young professional. We’re glad she is on our side. She makes things happen for us and our clients.
